I entered a competition at Black Sheep Gathering 2019 and won a blue ribbon for my category! My needle felted figure was one-hundred percent undyed (natural) core wool. The head, jaw, arms, and legs pivot on axles made out of tightly needle-felted wool. At the time I was unaware that the rules permitted some amount of mixed media (other materials) besides natural fiber. Other artists used metal, glass, and glue so maybe another time I will mix things up!
